Jesus loves me
Although I was born into a Christian family, I truly received Christ when I was 21. It was during my final year of engineering, a time when everyone around me was securing jobs as placement season was in full swing at my college. I, however, was being rejected by almost every company. As the rejections piled up, I spiraled into depression, and anxiety attacks became routine. I often broke down in tears in front of my mother and friends, but nothing seemed to alleviate my distress. To make matters worse, I was also suffering from severe hair loss, which only deepened my sense of hopelessness. Having nothing else to turn to, I started reading the Bible, beginning with Genesis. At that point, I didn’t really know Christ or understand what He was capable of. Then one day, two women and a man of God visited our home to speak with my father. Before leaving, they prayed for us. As they laid their hands on my head, I silently prayed to the Holy Spirit, begging that they wouldn’t reveal my sins and all the wrongs I had committed. During the prayer, I realized that God was my last hope; without Him, I had nothing. Soon, tears started streaming down my face, and I had a vision of an old woman with deep wrinkles covering her entire face. Her body was bent from old age, and she leaned on a stick for support, dressed in a saree. Even today, I don’t know who she was. After the prayer, I rested my head on the floor and felt intense heat all over my body, from head to toe, as flames seemed to consume me. I couldn't stop crying. It was my first encounter with the Holy Spirit. After the prayer, I didn’t mention anything to our visitors, thinking it was all in my head. But when they left, I told my mother what had happened. She suggested I pray for the old lady I saw, so I did. From that day forward, I started spending more time with God and talking to Him as if He were right beside me. Soon after, I got a job, my hair loss stopped, and I felt the fulfillment of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” A few days later, there was a two-day retreat near my house led by Apostle Ashok Martin and his team. On the first day, he prophesied that I would do the work of God and create a project that would help many people find eternal life. That night, I was overwhelmed with joy, feeling assured that Jesus knew me personally, even by name. It was enough to make me the happiest person. One night, as I listened to a preacher, I grew confused and began asking God some questions, repeating them in desperation. Suddenly, I saw a warm, white light approaching me in the darkness of my room. A force overcame me, and I sank into my bed, utterly terrified by the power of God. I was speechless and so afraid that I couldn’t close my eyes, turn on the lights, or call for anyone. I lay there, wide-eyed, until 4 in the morning. The next day, I told my mother about the experience. Since then, I’ve experienced other miraculous events that have confirmed my purpose to serve God. Today, I am pursuing my M.Tech at a prestigious college—a dream that would have been impossible without God’s grace.
Before I received Christ, i was living a life which is as similar as a non-believer. I was full of anxiety, low self-esteem and regrets.
Because of the failures in my life, a lack of purpose, and overwhelming career anxieties, I began living in a state of depression.
My life transformed when I began spending time alone with God, reading the Scriptures, and fully surrendering myself to Him. #transformation
I no longer experience anxiety attacks because I have a loving Heavenly Father who cares for me.
Even in my lows, when the enemy ensnared me in his plans, I return to my Father. He provides me with peace and assurance that even if I lose everything, I cannot lose Him. I don't rely on my grip to hold onto Him; instead, I trust His grip to hold onto me.
Well even after that i made some bad decisions and i don't know how would i overcome that... today i am here to complete the things i left before...like giving my testimony.... i believe in the god's grace my confidence is in Christ...i am trying to become more strong spiritually
