Jesus is My Fortress, Guide & Eternal Hope
God's peaceful assurance of His love for me sustains me throughout each day and gives me hope for each tomorrow.
Hope, assurance of heaven, faith to face fears, God's unconditional love, and guidance in my life are just some of the positive benefits of eternal life in Him.
I keep a picture of Jesus walking on troubled waters a short distance from the boat carrying his disciples on my desk with this poem I wrote to caption the picture: "When the storms of life have consumed you, take heart. Look up. Remain focused on Jesus. Only with your eyes stayed on Him can you stay afloat and successfully endure the storm without incident. Know that the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the True Light of His Glory, His Grace & All His Goodness. I AM the Righteousness of God in Jesus Christ!" I have difficulties in my work and personal life, and through these words and picture as a reminder, I am able to continue just in knowing that He is my leader, my guide and my friend no matter. He is and will ALWAYS be there for me.
God's love is so very powerful, I cannot imagine anyone who's heart is in the right place, would be anywhere else eternally than Heaven itself.
