Jesus Christ Changed My Life
I am glad that I received Christ as a young girl. Thank God for the men and women that proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world. Because I received Christ at a young age, I was able to get into ministries that helped me to reach others for Christ. I worked with the bus ministry, youth ministry, puppet ministry, became a choir member, got trained in Evangelism Explosion and presented the Gospel many times to many people. I was also trained in Kids Evangelism Explosion and help to train children in the Gospel and lead them to Christ. I encourage children and youth to follow Jesus early in life. Parents, make sure you and your children are hearing the Gospel message. You and your children will be glad you did! It's a wonderful feeling to know you are eternally secure in Christ!
Without Christ, I knew that I was a sinner and would enter an eternal Hell when I died. I heard preachers including Rev. Billy Graham on television and in churches preaching that Jesus forgives all of our sins . One day at the age of thirteen, I prayed and asked God to forgive me and become my Lord and Savior. At that moment, I felt peace and joy enter my heart and I knew that He had forgiven me and accepted me as His own. Now I no longer fear death and Hell, because I have a Savior who paid the price for me. I look forward to living eternally with Christ and my Heavenly Father. They have made me a citizen of the New Jerusalem. It will be a grand time when I am with them in Heaven along with all my loved ones who have already entered there.
Before receiving Christ, I had a dread of death. It was a fearful thing to think of an eternal Hell full of fire and no water to drink. No love. According to the scriptures, Hell was made for the devil and his angels. Man was not supposed to go there, but because of unbelief many will go to a place they were not created to go to. Jesus has prepared a place for us in Heaven. Heaven is supposed to be our home. God says to choose life or death and He even gives us the answer, "Choose life." Eternal life is in Jesus Christ. He is the answer.
I experience God's love every day. He is always with me even when I don't feel Him. He said, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." We have this confidence that He will be with us even until the end of our lives on earth.
