Jessica's Personal Testimony

I am glad I have eternal life through Christ because I now have unexplainable peace and comfort, knowing that I am never alone no matter the situation.

During my freshman year of college, I faced one of the toughest situations that I have dealt with. After struggling over the right choice for many days, I made my decision which ended up breaking my heart. I could not understand why I had chosen the path I choose, but I couldn’t go back. For two weeks straight, I was overwhelmed with sadness, and I could not get out of the rut I was in. Then, it was like a complete 180. I was reading over scripture when God reminded me that His plan is greater than my own, and that I am never alone. Through this mind transformation, I discovered immense peace and comfort knowing that the God of all creation holds my life in his hands.

The peace and comfort I felt in that difficult situation is one I continue to experience every day of my life. Because of my belief in Jesus Christ, his forgiveness of sins, and his resurrection (Romans 10:9), I am constantly filled with peace and comfort knowing where I will spend eternity after life on earth: with Jesus Christ in Heaven.
