Jermaine's Testimony

Before I received eternal life I was afraid that I was going to hell.

I remember after doing some studies in a foreign country; returning to my native country and being overwhelmed by the prospect of going to hell. I had many sleepless nights spent dreading dying and spending forever in a place filled with fire that never goes out. All day long I would remember that I had heard that after death is the judgment and for all the wrong things I had done I would go to hell forever if I died.

In the midst of such great fear, I spent some time talking with two persons and then I received eternal life.

Now that I have eternal life I know that if I died I’d go to heaven.

Once I was in a barbershop and a man was talking to his client about whether the client would go to heaven after dying. The client was unsure but when the barber asked me I was able to say that I would go to heaven.

I know that God has given me eternal life.
