Jeanette's Story
Before Jesus I was my own master, fulfilling self was the most important thing. After I gave my life to Jesus, He became all that I needed. Through His love for me and the sacrifice He made on the cross He showed me that I was forgiven and that He had prepared a place for me in eternity.
Before I received eternal life I was discontent always busy at things that were not fulfilling, living a life of sin, selfish and unsure of the future.
I was in a relationship that held no promise of a future, no security. It created worry, anxiety and I began to question the decisions I had made in my life and the purpose of it. I came to realize at 43 how lost and empty I felt.
Through reading the bible I came to know Jesus and how I could have eternal life.
Now that I have eternal life I no longer fear the future, my life has purpose and the emptiness I once felt has been replaced by contentment and joy.
I took a long look at the relationship I was living in and ended it and stepped out in faith. I had no job or place to live at that time but by placing my trust in Jesus alone through faith He should me that He had a plan for me.
I know that I can put my complete trust in Jesus with my life here because when I die I will be with Him for eternity.
