It's Not All About Me. . .it's about Him
My testimony is one about total transformation. From living for self and experiencing discontentment to living for Jesus and feeling an inner joy and peace that only comes from God.
Before I received eternal life, I lived according to my plans, what I wanted and lacked a true compass in my life.
I really thought I was happy. I was driven by self-centered plans which accomplished great things by society's standards, but inside I was stressed, discontent, and resentful.
After my life hit an all-time low, a friend shared Christian literature with me that made me want to read The Bible. In my readings, I learned that Jesus Christ loves me so much that He died for my sins on the cross, and as a result, I am forgiven. I learned that Jesus is in control of my life, and that He's in all the details of my life. Ultimately, I learned that I have eternal life in heaven because of what He did for me on the cross!
Now that I have eternal life, I live my life for Jesus!
My life has completely transformed in ways too many to count, but now I decide how to live, act, and talk according to what Jesus wants. Jesus transformed my relationships, my mind, and my heart!
While I haven't stopped worrying about life, I know full well who's in control, and it's not me! And when worry eats at me, I go to Jesus. And when life on earth is over, I know I'll be welcomed into heaven with my Father.
Your testimony matters too
