Is that all there is?

Knowing that eternal life is mine through Jesus Christ gives me a purpose in life that cannot be found elsewhere in this world.

Having been raised in a relatively affluent family, I was able to enjoy many of the things that money can buy. Our family went on nice vacations, enjoyed time at our cabin on a lake and never lacked for anything. It seemed like a perfect childhood. But God began to show me some of the emptiness in the lives of people around me who sought happiness in material things. When I saw that true peace in life comes only through faith in Jesus, I accepted Him eagerly.

Since I began my walk with Jesus as Savior, I have never doubted that He is with me here and throughout eternity. I have often struggled and failed, but I have known peace that only comes from being one of His children.
