Inner Peace

Knowing I have eternal life gives me an inner peace being confident that God is always with me.

A few years ago, I received a call from my doctor saying the test results showed I had thyroid cancer. While the news brought me to my knees realizing I had absolutely no control over my future, I felt peace knowing I fully trusted the One who is over all things, including cancer. After surgery to remove the cancerous tumor, I was given a clean bill of health from my doctors. Through the entire process, I felt safe secure in the knowledge that God was with me in every step.

I'm so thankful that I know I have eternal life because of what God has promised in His Word. John 6: 47 - Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
