In Your Presence is Fullness of Joy

Before I received eternal life I was dissatisfied with my life.

I was always building my life around others and what they thought would make me happy. I remember being in a really unhealthy relationship. This was someone who wasn't helping me walk in the right direction, but nevertheless, we were building our lives around each other. When that relationship ended, I realized that everything I was living for at that time was temporary. I was dissatisfied and unfulfilled. I knew I needed something to live for that was eternal.

Then, even though I didn't have much of a church background, actually started praying. A couple weeks later, I met a Christian who I was able to attend church with. I heard about an eternal God and how to have eternal life with him.

Now that I have eternal life, I'm satisfied. My hope and purpose is no longer dependant on people. It's dependant on God, who will never leave me nor forsake me.

A few years back, my family and I packed up a bunch of suitcases and moved to another country so I could do websites for ministries. We left our jobs, our family, and everything else that people tend to build their life around, and were at peace with it. We knew we'd be happy as long as God is with us.

Even better than that, I know that no matter what happens to me, I'll always have eternal life with God.
