I was lost, but now I am found

Before I received eternal life I knew something was missing, there was a void in my life

I remember always seeking God, going from one religion to another trying to find that missing piece in my heart

Then after watching my best friends life change after accepting God as her personal savior and attending a church for quite some time, God opened my eyes to see and I received eternal life through Jesus

Throughout life there are so many challenges, what I didn't know then was that God is always with me and I never have to go through anything alone. Now that I have eternal life through Jesus, I no longer have that void. God has overflowed my heart with love, peace, & joy.

Before entering in a relationship with God, I would worry about everything, felt depressed, hate, greed; nothing could satisfy me no matter what I tried. After receiving eternal life, I have a peace that passes all understanding.

We all have struggles and trials in our life, but how we deal with them speaks volumes to those around us. When my son was sentenced to 15 years in prison, I fell to my knees and praised God and when I lost my job, I thanked God for always being in charge of my life. I could of never gotten through any of these without God in my life. He has changed me in so many ways and I have been witness to him changing my loved ones around me. I am so thankful for his Grace and forgiveness. God is always faithful and I thank him for my eternal life. I will continue to walk out my life with my eyes on the prize in glory of God.
