I Prayed and Jesus Answered
I'm Native American, but grew up in a Jewish neighborhood. Living in that community gave me a hunger for God that Native spirituality and witchcraft could not fill. Having grown close to Jewish friends, I was intrigued when a Jewish guy spoke about Jesus. The Holy Spirit confirmed that what I heard was true.
Before Jesus I had a spiritual hunger but didn't know how to fill it.
I was jealous of my Jewish friend because he had a book and traditions that told him all about God. However, my Native American spirituality and witchcraft left empty and afraid.
Then I heard a Jewish guy talking about Jesus and how the Holy Spirit would let you know that He was for real.
After praying and trusting Jesus for my salvation, I no longer fear the spirits that threatened me in my prior practices and my spiritual hunger is met.
The darkness was not happy that I'd turned to Christ. When demons came after me, I was able to battle and fend them off in Jesus' name. I no longer live in terror of them.
The Holy Spirit let me know that the testimony I heard about Jesus was true. He spoke directly to my understanding - beyond words, intellect, and interpretation. Having heard directly from Him, I'm fully confident in my salvation.
