I Know I've Been Changed!!

Before I truely gave my life to Christ and received eternal life, I would allow worries of the world to consume me.

Before Christ if there were bills due or something that my children needed, I would worry, borrow, and try and think of a plan on how to get it. This is very unhealthy because I would do almost anything to provide for them, be it sell drugs or set someone up to get robbed. Doing all of this I feel is one of the reasons I got robbed myself. I was selling drugs out of my house and my children were upstairs sleeping. I let two guys in my house that I did not know and once in they both had guns to my head and told me they wanted everything. Now I too had a gun but I was unable to get to it due to the fact there were two to my head already. If i had depended on God to do what I know he is capable of, I would have never even been in that situation. Putting myself and the lives of my children in danger.

I began to trust in Jesus Christ alone.

Now that I truely trust in Jesus Christ alone, I no longer worry about things of the world.

I have recently lost a well paying job and still have four children to care for along with regular bills. Instead of worrying, which is what many people would do in my situation. I just continue to trust in God and watch him work. When you worry you are taking the problems back out of God's hands. Needless to say, as I trust him, my phone has yet to be turned off, I still have gas in my car and my children are not hungry or homeless. I believe that God can do it all. Even if he does not do it, I know that he can.

No matter what the world brings my way, just knowing that I trust and depend strickly on Jesus Christ alone, I am assured that I will have eternal life in heaven.
