I know He has me in the palm of His hand
Everyday I feel the presence of God in my life. I know He loves me like I'm the only one around. Sometimes we pray, but forget to wait for His answer, for Him to speak to us. He is a Living God and does want to communicate with us often. It is not a one-way street. I can see His answers in situations and circumstances, as well as, His still small voice I hear in my spirit. I know He has me in the palm of His hand.
I had always felt something was missing from my life.
I tried filling it with many things: relationships, drugs, alcohol, but nothing seemed to satisfy that emptiness.
Then someone came and shared with me that I could know that I have the gift of eternal life.
I now have a peace that I never thought possible. Even in the midst of everyday problems, that peace is always there. I know no matter what happens, everything is going to be alright.
When I had lost my job due to downsizing, since I am older in age, I found that finding another job was not such an easy task. I was out of work for two and a half years. Unemployment was there for awhile. Then, when it stopped, it seemed that every real need I had was supplied through some sort of miracle: a refund from something I never expected, someone just coming up and handing you a $20 that covered your gas, someone giving you a few bags of food...I could feel Him smiling down on me.
I know that Jesus died for me and rose again from the dead to prove He was who He said He was: God come to earth in the flesh to buy us back from the sinful nature of the fall.
