I Choose God
After being baptized at 10 years old, I lived a life that does not align with God's will for my life, but instead the world's views of life. After years of trying to fit in with other people and tearing myself down spiritually and mentally, God gave me a lifeline that would forever change my life. After this moment of being saved, through the ups and downs, God has remained faithful and has always brought me back to Himself.
Before I received eternal life, I tried too hard to fit in with other people.
I remember being in a dark place in my life mentlly, constantly wondering "Am I ever going to be okay?"
Then I received eternal life during church camp, learning what it truly means to worship the Lord and have a true relationship with Him.
Now that I have eternal life, I no longer live for the world and to trust God when things become uncertain.
This past summer, I took on a church internship that beforehand, I would've been skeptical and would've listened to the world's advice on that instead of God's direction.
In the uncertainties, I know God will provide. I have nothing to worry about when I put my life and my choices in His hands.
