I Am Your's, God

Before I received eternal life, I thought I was saved for doing good things, like going to church.

I remember listening in Sunday school that you only can be saved by asking Jesus into your heart, but I would just try to do good things instead. To be honest, I don't know why I did that.

Then I realized, during a Christmas Eve service, that it was God's grace that saves me, and I can't do enough good to get into Heaven.

Now I live my life to glorify Christ, not myself.

This is kind of funny, but now whenever I'm playing a sport, and I do something awesome, I point up to God, not me.

Now, I know that, because I've accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and live for Him, I will live WITH Him.
