I am no longer wrestling.

Now that I have eternal life, I have immeasurable peace despite life's frustrations.

Before I received eternal life, I was angry. I remember getting into a fight with my best friend. I remember wrestling around in the grass fuming with anger. I spoke with my father afterward, he told me that Christ never fought back. He was ridiculed and spat on, and he never threw a punch. Instead, He said, "Father forgive them." During that conversation, I received eternal life. Now that I have eternal life, I have immeasurable peace. No matter how difficult or infuriating life gets that anger that used to overtake me has to kneel before Jesus. Even if I do selfishly get angry, it never lasts long, because the immeasurable weight of God's love softens my heart.

I am changed by God's love, and I know that if I were to die today, I'd get to spend eternity with Jesus.
