How Peace Replaced the Chaos and Confusion in My Life
Before I became certain that I have eternal life my life was in chaos, I was miserable and had no peace.
I am so glad I have eternal life. The inner peace I experience as a result of this assurance helps me to face life without being stressed over the obstacles, challenges and hardships I face.
I grew up in a Christian home and believed about God and eternal life. About in the middle of my teen years I started questioning the existence of God and the reality of eternal life. I began to wonder whether my initial beliefs were just a result of indoctrination. I started reading books and articles that opposed the existence of God and the reality of eternal life. While doing this I had no peace, no joy, my life was in chaos, I was very miserable and confused.
My mother noticed that my conversations and my life in general were in turmoil. I was pursuing habits that I thought would bring me peace but actually made my life more miserable. She sat me down one day and showed me very clearly from the Bible that God is real, eternal life is real and how I could know for certain that I have eternal life. Now I am certain I have eternal life and my life is filled with peace and joy.
