How My Life Was Changed

I regretted the way I behaved and treated people. My thoughts and actions began to change over time after I started my relationship with Jesus. While I did not always feel accepted by my friends, there was (and is) something deep inside me that affirmed it was right to begin following Him. I guess that is what they call peace.

I can remember as a student having a foul mouth, disruptive habits, and an arrogant demeaner. Within a few short months, I began to notice that the attitudes I exhibited previously were improving, and I experienced less remorse over my life. God's grace and forgiveness became very real. I am much more confident in who I am today, than who I was back then.

When I started my relationship with Jesus, all I knew was that I was trusting Him. I didn't even know what that meant. Through the months and years, I now realize that the Holy Spirit reminds me every day that I am a child of God. And His Word, the Bible, promises that after this life, I will have eternal life in Heaven with Him.
