How I found God in the darkest of times.

I was angry and upset at God because He wasn't answering my prayers

I was diagnosed with a condition called Kallmann Syndrome, a rare genetic condition rendering my body hormone-less. I was alone. Scared and so different. I kept praying to God for someone to come along like me.

Then one day, around 3 years after praying and crying and swearing at God... I found her. My now wife, the lady who shares the same condition as me. I found God that day. He had answered my prayers despite my anger and frustration at Him for not answering me. May 3rd 2012... such guilt and shame rose in me, but so did an amazing truth. An answer to my prayer and a validation to me of Christ's existence.

Now I have eternal life through Christ, I make it my daily ambition to help those in tough times, find God like I did. I want to prepare people for the random realisation that Jesus is waiting for the time to show you His existence and His love for you

Every time I get knocked down, lose my job, hit rock bottom, I know that, coming so close to suicide, God had scooped me up again, and so He has done every time I've lost all hope. God is great.

I ask for forgiveness, confess my love to Christ and confess my sins, I was baptised last Sunday to officially thank Christ for all He has done for me. I just hope I make Him proud before I get to thank Him in person.
