How God changed my life!

Before I received eternal life I didn't have a clear purpose for my life. It was a huge struggle to figure out what I wanted to do for my life's work.

I knew that I needed to support myself and my family, to provide for our basic needs for shelter, food, and social interaction. But it seemed to me that there must be much more to living than that. That was just a cycle of go to work to earn money to buy food to eat and then have strength to go back to work to earn money to buy food to eat...

When I was learning to share the Good News of Jesus with others through our church, I was not too enthusiastic about doing it. I felt awkward sharing my faith. I really hoped I would find something else to do in the church.

Now that I fully trust in Christ and what He did for me on the cross, my spiritual life has been transformed. And that has also changed my everyday life as well.

As I [reluctantly] shared the Good News in peoples' living rooms in Texas, our little church was growing. But I expected that to happen. We were making contacts and people were responding. What I didn't expect to happen was that as I was sharing the Good News, and of course I was hearing it over and over, my own faith was growing and became something more important than I ever thought possible. It even made me want to change careers so I could share the Good News of Jesus full time! And I did just that!

Now I have a real purpose for living. My life has been transformed. I didn't do it...God did it for me. I am excited about the Good News of Jesus and I know that I have eternal life and will go to heaven when I leave this earth.
