How God Changed My Life
Before I really understood who God was and how much He loved me, I was a very spiteful person. Constantly I would put people down to glorify myself. However, God spoke into my life and made me realize that I need to live to serve, through loving others.
Before I received eternal life I was so self-centered and selfish, and I was destroying friendships with my actions.
Every time I saw or interacted with someone, I would focus on all the bad they do and how I despised them. Whenever it came down to me, I would get in vicious debates on how I was never in the wrong.
Then, God really spoke in my life and told me I need to learn to love and live like Him. That's when I really trusted my eternal life in Him.
Now I always strive to be friendly to people. I try to build friendships and plant seeds in people's lives to show them the amazing love God has showed me.
Regularly in class there was a mentally handicapped kid who is very inclusive and lonely. Trying to live as God would want me to, I reached out to him and befriended him. He's always happy to see me and is now very talkative.
I know now that I should love people whenever I have the opportunity; just as God has loved me. I know that because I love Him and trust that His son died for my sins, that I have eternal life.
