Hope When I Found None
I lost my job and it brought upon depression. I gave up, until I remembered what God has done for me before and promised to do again. He worked miracles and brought me multiple job offers. I believe I ended up where I was meant to me. I thank God for always being there for me, bringing hope, peace, and love. I know I will have the ultimate peace of eternal life when it is finally my time.
I'm glad I know I have eternal life because even at my lowest, I can remember and trust that God loves and has a plan for me.
My first year teaching, I was asked to resign before the end of the year, for something I didn't do. I already suffer from chronic depression, mood swings, anxiety, and panic disorder. This definitely triggered it. I felt hopeless and like I was totally duped. I was angry, confused, and lost. For two months, I did nothing to find work and wallowed in my own self pity. But then I started to remember when I had been depressed like this before and God worked miracles to change my spirit and get me back on track. Well God did it again and intervened. I began the hard work of job hunting and God provided me with interviews and options for teaching again, which I used to think would never happen. I feel like where I ended up with my new job was exactly where God planned for me to be, and I don't think it would have happened without that whole ordeal. I thank God for getting me through it and bringing me hope, peace, and love.
I know He will always have my back and I will have the ultimate peace of eternal life when it is my time.
