Henrys testimony
Before I was a Christian I was depressed as I questioned my existence. Why was I here? What was my purpose? I had concluded that life was meaningless, and I would often cry out some nights for God to kill me. Then at a youth camp in the summer of 2021 after relating to our speakers testimony that week, and confessing sin to my small group leader. I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me on the last night while we were worshipping. It gave me a peace I had never felt before. My life changed. My new found faith in Christ brought me hope, peace, and purpose. I now wake up knowing I exist for a reason, and have purpose on this earth. That I am not just matter that happened by accident.
Before I was saved I was depressed.
I remember being suicidal, and praying that God would kill me.
Then the Holy Spirit came upon me and gave me and indescribable peace.
I now have a purpose in my life, and am fulfilled.
I wake up most mornings and know that I exist for a reason, that there is meaning and purpose in life, and that we are not just empty husks passing through.
I am super positive that one day I will be with Jesus when I die or when He comes back.
