He quenched my need for anger!
God provided everything that I needed to rid my heart of the anger and bitterness that controlled me. He then filled that emptiness with everything that I needed to see the beauty of all that He has done for me.
Before I received eternal life I was full of anger and bitterness toward God and life.
Regardless of who I hurt or the chances I took with my own life, I fought all battles on my own terms and took what I felt was owed to me.
When a group of Christians saw something in me that I had not seen, they were able to prove to me that God had always been present with me and that even the worthless soul that I thought I was had been on the mind of Jesus as he bled away His own life.
Finding that I did not have to fight alone, God's love for me filled the emptiness, tore away my anger and allowed me to forgive the people who had failed me.
As my children were born in front of my eyes and as I have watched the sun set over the ocean, I marvel at what God has created for me to witness His amazing love.
Jesus has not saved me from struggles in life, yet I never doubt the love He has for me or that He has an eternal place for me with Him when my path here ends.
