He pursues me consistently

Knowing that I am kept from harm, even when it's self inflicting

I went through a really rebellious stage in my teens, one day being very depressed, I decide to binge drink and ended up with alcohol poisoning. While in the state of alcohol, I remember seeing and feeling a dark shadow moving to and fro behind me, but instead of being scared, I knew that God was with me. In the midst of fear, I felt aware and calm. He was able to give me a clear mind despite the alcohol. It was that day that I was convicted of my rebellion and started a slow and steady journey to give up drinking and return to my path with the Lord.

God is consistently purusing me. I've experienced that still small voice and I know He convicts me out of love. He always brings me back to Him and I know for sure that thorough His love, I will be in heaven with Him one day
