He filled me with a joy and special kind of love

Jesus put a love and joy in me that I am able to share with others. A love I never experienced when I was growing up and a smile that stays with me.

One day during a special church service, I was going thru something pretty bad and I had bad attitude. There was a lady speaking and she began to talk about the joy of the Lord and how Jesus wants us to be joyful and experience his special love. I folded my arms I didn't believe her because I was sitting in church with no joy and was not feeling loved. As she spoke, people began to laugh and cry. I went to leave and I couldn't unfold my arms and I was stuck like that for 45 minutes just laughing and crying and then this warm feeling came over me and I knew it was God and I've been smiling ever since and Every time I need reassurance that he's with me I get that same warm feeling and feel his love all over again.

That same joy that he's given me and the love that he showed me then, I still experience today and it lets me know how much He loves me and that I'm still connected to him which lets me know that I have a real connection with him now and for eternity. I look forward to seeing him when I arrive in heaven
