Grace and Mercy

My life was one of self reliance and thinking it was all about me and my strength

I remember being in an army incident where there was gun fire and some of my colleagues lost their lives

Then someone shared with me how I could have eternal life and surrendering to God

Now I know that it is all about Christ and the fact that I was given a second chance means God was not done with me yet

I have realized that God has me in the palm of his hand and He wants me to go out there and share the good news to others just as it was shared with me

We serve a God of second chances. Where would I have been if I had not made it that day?
