God will never abandon you
Though life can be painful, never think for a moment that He isn't there with you. He hears your prayers and will help you. He loves you more than you'll ever know.
Before my relationship with Christ I felt hopeless, but God has given me purpose to my life and now I have hope.
I have had a lot of trauma in my life and I always thought God didn't love me. I was envious of Christians who were happy and had a genuine relationship with Christ. I had a chip on my shoulder and felt different than they did because of my pain. I thought God had abandoned me. Three years ago I couldn't take the pain any longer and I surrendered every ounce of shame and guilt that I had had from the trauma. I felt God's grace wash over me and in His mercy He wrapped His loving arms around me and said "I'm so glad you're home, my child. I've been waiting for you." I am totally at peace now and am on the path to forgiving and healing. Everyday I grow stronger in my relationship with God.
Because I trust Him with my life, I trust all that He tells me through the Word, the Holy Spirit, and His wonderful blessings. He promises that I will have eternal life with Him in Heaven. I know that I will be with Him forever. Without a doubt.
