God taught me to call to Him in fear & sickness! He heals and delivers, in His time!
Have you lost a loved one? Do you feel broken and fearful? I have been on that path too and it takes time to heal. But we have a companion on that journey. And like the fear and darkness that attacks us is unseen, so is the comforter who will get us out of this brokenness!
The Lord taught me that He delivers from evil the ones who call to Him. The timing of the deliverance would vary for each child of God and In His times He does great wonders!
January 2016 recorded a devastating crisis in my personal life. A beloved family member passed away at age 18 and the irreplaceable loss broke my heart. The pain of loss opened the door to fear and anxiety about the future. Each day started with anxiety as to what news it would bring and this shifted my focus from God and also worsened my physical health. The worry and fear that "bad things" would happen had me bound and confused. I would wake up with a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach and would suffer from insomnia at night. And all this having been a "christian" all my life. Anyhow, I sat and read His word with newfound conviction in 2017 and believed John 8:36 that says "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." God led me to Jeremiah 29 where the people of Jerusalem were faced with 70 years of captivity. But God advised them to do good in the land of captivity and to work hard so they might prosper. And at the end of the 70 years he promised deliverance and prosperity, and He later did what He promised. Similarly for months after the loss I was a captive, but I waited with the Lord and He slowly delivered me, healed me and promised that He had good plans in store! During days of tears and fear I called and cried to Him, instead of crying alone. And He answered my prayers when His appointed time came. He still comforts me and tells me He holds the future and I do not have to worry for the Lord Himself will wage wars to give my family and I victory in life. I am thankful to God for hearing this little girl's prayers too ( I am small-framed. Lol!) and I glorify Him because He always keeps His word, people! You who are reading this post: Don't look at me. Look at GOD. Pray and Call to HIM. Read the Bible and seek Him. Repent for the sins and brokenness and lack of trust and remind our God that you are also His child and that makes you worthy of all His promises for you in the Bible. Pray quoting those promises and ask our dear Lord through Jesus Christ to deliver you and wait patiently even if the times seem bad. The blessings of the Lord will be so great once He decides to place His hedge around you. Psalm 50: 15 "and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." So let us ask him to deliver us, so we can honor Him. Uphold me in your prayers. God be with us all!
Jesus Christ was God's own son sent to earth in order to experience death (and for other reasons like healing, delivering and getting us all a way to eternal life). But he did not remain dead. His death was to show the world that God holds the power of resurrection. So for every bad thing that the enemy has caused, God creates a solution. And for death on earth God's solution was "Life after death" in Heaven. So cheer up peeps! As painful as losing loved ones or the process of death might seem, We have a future with Him after this! And I am promised a life with the Holy Spirit here and another with the sweet Lord Jesus over there. I pray in His time, when He calls us, we would all experience heaven! The way there is to confess our sins to Jesus and asking God to forgive us (which he really surely will according to the Scriptures) and stop repeating those sins.
Your testimony matters too
