God's story in my life
I lived my life with no purpose and no hope for many years, I had become satisfied with the "nothingness" in my life. Then I heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and my life began to change, after weeks of being stubborn, I finally gave in to the Holy Spirit and received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and in doing so received eternal life.
Before I received eternal life I had no purpose.
I remember feeling like all there was to life was pain and finally death, and I was just along for the ride.
Then after weeks of raising my hand expressing that I didn't know where I would go when I died, I finally went to the alter and was shown how to receive eternal life.
Now that I've received eternal life I now know that I have a purpose in life.
I have found my purpose in not only sharing my faith with others, but I also know that God has plans for my life to honor and worship Him, and to serve him however he needs me.
I now have not only a purpose, but I now know without a doubt that if I were to die today that I'd go to heaven for eternity with my heavenly father.
