God's Promises are True
God's presence and care are promised in His Word. In the same way, His promise of eternal life is also found there.
I'm so thankful I have a relationship with God. He has blessed me with a deep sense of being forgiven and the knowledge that He is always with me, no matter what.
I remember a period in my life when I was struggling with anxiety. It lasted for many months, but as I consistently brought God's promises in the Bible to my mind, it helped me understand His abiding presence and care for me. I no longer needed to be afraid as I trusted His continued care and presence. God says in Isaiah 41:10, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Surely, I will help you. Surely, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
God's promises from His Word in that situation also overflow to all parts of my life, and it is through these promises and many others that I know I have eternal life and will be with him when I die.
