God's Grace - My Story -within His Story

He is Faithful - He is Trustworthy - He is MY Lord - He is MY Savior - He is my Comforter - He is EVERYTHING

My name is Anne, and the meaning of Anne is "grace" and "God has favored me". I have been living out His favor for nearly 60 years. After three miscarriages my mother gave birth to two sons- then nearly a decade later, a surprised gift - a mother's answered prayer - a little girl. Raised in the church, then actually experiencing God's presence as He shared the truth of His reality to me all the while another kindergartener said a simple prayer at the beginning of our choir practice. Not knowing that being my mother's shadow while attending bible studies, prayer meetings, neighborhood "Good News Clubs", and her living out the Christian Life by serving others - that I would have the opportunity to be filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of eleven. I was blessed to know the Lord on a daily basis, to go to a Christian high school, grow up - and live "HAPPILY EVER AFTER" Well, not quite. We live in a fallen world, tragedies happen and I wasn't altogether shielded from trouble...

- A young wife with a Christian husband who was lured back into drugs and handed a divorce after 7 years. - A young single mother with a daughter that began having seizures at age 5 " out of the blue" with no apparent reason why. - The heartbreak of a separation 10 years into a second marriage. - The disaster of a housefire and losing everything - yes, everything. - Adult children that have chosen addictions and living out traumas from their torn childhoods. BUT GOD...has been with me on this life's journey - AND will continue to be faithful as He: - Redeemed the ex-husband back to Himself and he shared that redemption story in Christian outreach ministries. - Fully healed that daughter after a pastor prayed for her while recuperating at the local Children's Hospital from a particularly bad seizure. - The miraculous re-commitment of two hurt-yet in a healing process within our 34 years of marriage. - Watching and trusting the FAITHFULNESS of God's redemptive plan in our children's and grandchildren's lives.
