God Provides in Times of Despair

I am thankful that Jesus is my Lord and Savior because I know that He will always be there to get me through difficult times.

I am extremely grateful that I have God in my life. A few years ago my husband and I went through very trying times. In 2008, my brother, 10 year old son, and my grandma passed away. Also, because of the recession, my husband's business went under and I was laid off from work in the beginning of 2009. We had a 12 year old daughter to support plus bills to pay. I cried out to God to rescue us. I knew that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Then in July of 2009, a member of my church told me about a job opening that paid way more than I ever dreamed of making. I thought my chances of being hired were very low as I did not have much experience in that field. I went in for the interview and by the grace of God, I was hired for the job and I have been happily working at the same company for almost 9 years. My daughter will also be graduating college in a few months with her Bachelors Degree! We are very thankful that God saw her through these tough times as well. God came to give us life and to have it more abundantly. I would never have been able to have gotten through that horrible time in my life without comfort and strength from God. I have come to a place in my life where I know everything will be okay because I have God in my life. May I ask you a question?

Going through such grief and despair can be devastating to anyone, but with God in my life, I knew he would give me comfort, peace, and love. Because of His love for me, I know that I have eternal life and I will see my loved ones again in Heaven.
