God made me a believer in life...eternal life through Jesus!

Before I received eternal life by being saved by The Lord Jesus Christ, I did not believe in God or anything. I had no rules and lived just for me.

I remembered going to church at a young age, but when I became a teenager, I no longer cared to go.

After surviving a bad wreck, I was scared and was grateful to be a live. Shortly after that, bought a Bible at a local Christian bookstore, read the Gospels that weekend, and realized I never asked Jesus Christ to truly save me. I thought because I got baptized at a young age, I was ok if something happened. But I did not understand what it meant to really be saved.

Now that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life, I have understood life better than I did before! Before Jesus saved me, I did not believe in anything! By reading The Word, letting the Holy Spirit teach me, God has revealed truth in my life, and I now know Jesus Christ is the only way to God and the only way to Heaven!

My wife and I have two sons. They both were in a car wreck coming home with their aunt from daycare one afternoon. My youngest had to be life flighted to Houston due to internal bleeding. We were told he would be there a week or two in Texas Childrens ICU. After our pastors, church family, family and friends begin to pray, within a few days my son was released to come home! God healed his little body!

I know, by seeing what God has done in my life, by making the impossible possible, by saving me, by revealing the truth of Him, that if I died tonight, without a doubt, I would go to live with my Lord and Savior in Heaven for all eternity! I am now a licensed Baptist lay preacher and member of Harmony Hill Baptist of Lufkin, Texas. God has led me to BMA Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas where I have been attending since August of 2011, part time. God has given me the privilege of teaching The Bible at nursing homes every Sunday and various small groups throughout the year. I also do pullpit fill in ministries for other churches in the area I live in. God also blesses me to speak at different outreach missions, wherever He calls me to go. God has taught me so much about Him, in life and in His Word! I can never get enough of learning about Him!
