God is faithful.
God pursues His chosen people faithfully in spite of our indiscretions so that He is glorified in their redemption.
Eternal life means that I get to enjoy the company of my creator forever.
Even when I fled from God and pursued my flesh for a time God never abandoned me and used that time to demonstrate how truly valuable He is over everything else the world offers.
This assures me that regardless of how often I sin He will never leave me there and will always call me back to Himself. I know that even in my failures, God works all things together for my good and He will finish the work in me.
