God is Faithful
This is my testimony of how God demonstrated His faithfulness in my life! When I was young, my parents were called to missions in Central America and we moved to a new country that I knew nothing about. Though I was angry at God, He showed me how He was always there for me. He transformed my heart and my life, changing my anger and bitterness, to love and compassion. He brought me peace and comfort in the midst of a difficult time in my life.
I am so thankful that I have eternal life because I know that, even when I feel alone or abandoned, God is always with me, bringing me comfort and joy!
I was saved at a very young age. I grew up in church, and in a Christian family. I thought that I had the perfect life. Everything changed when I was nine. My parents were called to be missionaries in Central America, and we sold everything and moved to El Salvador. I felt alone, and that God had abandoned me and forgotten about me. I was angry at God, and I hated Him for taking me away from the "perfect" life that I once knew and found comfort in. But, God is faithful and good! He patiently revealed to me how He had never abandoned me. He was with me every step of the way, through the move and throughout my Christian life. He changed my heart, that was full of anger and bitterness, and brought me into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Him.
Just like I came to realize then, at a young age, I know that I am never alone and that God is with me no matter where I am or what situation I am in. I know that one day I will spend eternity in heaven with Him, but until that day, He has brought peace, comfort, and joy to every aspect of my life, and His presence is with me constantly. He used a difficult time in my life to change my heart and deepen my relationship with Him.
