God is Faithful

Before I received eternal life, control was something I thought I could never give up. Was God real and did he really have my best interest at hand.

Back in October of 2010, God put me in a situation where I had no control and showed me that he was very real and in control.

Then I discovered that Christ loves me so much and that he knows my every need. I can surrender and give him full control. I gave my life to Christ, so I could have eternal life.

Now that I have eternal life, Christ has open doors that only he could open.

One morning on my way to work, I was driving down our dark country road and a cow appeared right in front of me when I was going 40 miles an hour. My instinct was to swerve to not hit the cow. My vehicle would flip 3 times. I would pass out and just remember waking up when the vehicle was on all four tires. God was in control and he knew that would traumatize me, so I went to sleep and woke up when it was over.

When I realized that Eternal Life was so much better than having control, is when life changed for me. When I admitted that I was a sinner and in need of God's grace, my life changed. I accepted Christ's forgiveness knowing that he paid that penalty for me. I accepted him as my Lord and Savior and asked him into my heart.
