God healed my heart
I struggled for years with unrequited love for a man I met when I was very young. It led me to order tarot readings and get involved in witchcraft, however God delivered me from those things and loved me. God helped me find peace and feel loved by filling a hole that only God could fill. God helped me to use the pain I felt to help others and to realise if we are loved and valued by God, others opinions of us do not matter.
I am grateful that God has given me eternal life because my life has purpose and meaning through God’s plan for me. It is reassuring that eternal life grants us inner peace knowing God’s loving and forgiving nature.
This is a story of how encountering God helped rebuild my life. Every woman remembers the first guy that she likes. For me, I had moved onto a new street at the age of 10 years old. I met a boy who lived on that same street. I fell madly in love with him the moment I first met him. I thought he was charming and handsome. I was convinced that he was the right person for me and that we would marry one day. Unfortunately, he did not feel the same way and he rejected me. I remember feeling heartbroken and devastated. Instead of accepting his rejection, it made me fight harder to be loved. I spent years trying to get him to see me the way I wanted him to see me. He would call me ugly and make fun of me in front of his friends for feeling the way he did. I realised that I needed to heal and move on with my life but I struggled because he was at my high school and on my street. Every time I saw him the same thoughts would come flooding back “No one loves you”. “You are ugly”. I tried all these tips to move on from websites but nothing filled the emptiness inside of not being loved. Everytime I saw him, the heartache began again because I knew no matter what I did or what I wore or looked like, he would never look at me or love me the way I truly wanted. At the age of 18, I remember the last time I saw him, he did not say goodbye on our last day of high school as we were no longer in contact. I felt butterflies when I saw him but the second he saw me, I felt the heartache again because I saw his expression of “What is wrong with you?” for feeling the way I did. I then saw he got into a relationship with a woman that he is currently with now and I felt my whole world had come crashing down. I had prayed to God for this man for so many years? Why does he not want me? What is so wrong with me that he wants her not me? I fell into despair and then I found an app for psychic mediums who offered advice and support claiming God was helping them. They told me that this man loved me and that we would be together yet it never happened. They would tell me what I wanted to hear but not the truth. They told me that he would split from his girlfriend but they never did. They would tell me how God would want me to get spells to attract the life I want. I started seeing dark shapes and waking up throughout the night. I realised that psychic mediums and witchcraft was truly evil. I prayed to God and God delivered me from those wicked things. I was terribly sorry that I listened to those psychics and did not seek God. God has helped deliver me from witchcraft and mediums. I am grateful to God for helping rebuild my life because he filled the emptiness that I felt loving a man that did not feel the same way. I realised that God loves me, so it does not matter if one man on this Earth does not see my value because God does. God showed me that there were far more important things in my life than my love life and that includes using the life I have been given to help make a difference. God has taken me to where I am today as a biomedical scientist that helps save patient lives and is dedicated to helping those who are in pain. I decided to use the heartache and pain I had felt to motivate me to help patients in my work who are dealing with different forms of pain. God helped me rebuild my self esteem and showed me that I am loved and God loves all of us. God loves all of us regardless of what others think. That man’s opinion was not what truly mattered, Gods opinion was the only one that truly mattered and only when focusing on God does my life have balance and purpose and peace.
I am grateful that God has helped transform me by using my pain to help me become a better and more empathetic person to help those in pain in different ways. I am grateful that I have eternal life because God has filled the emptiness in me that I had felt for years.
