God Has Ordered My Steps

I'm thankful that I know God because I have confidence that regardless of what today brings, all things work together for good for those who love God.

I went to one of the top high schools in the country. On average, members of my class applied to seven colleges. I knew people who applied to as many as fourteen schools and others who applied to the entire Ivy League. I applied to one school. Despite initially thinking that I wasn't even interested in that school, after my first visit to campus, I knew that this was the place that God had for me. I didn't need to apply to two schools because I knew that the door was open right where I needed to be. I was accepted there and things continued to fall into place in a way that I got to be part of a story of God that was bigger than myself.

This same confidence that God has ordered my steps helps me to live every day with a peace that transcends human understanding because I have confidence that my time here means something and that when my time on earth is up, I will spend eternity in the place that God has prepared for me in heaven.
