God has a patient plan for everyone.

Living in the faith that God already has it ALL figured out gives me hope, peace & reassurance every moment of my walk with Him.

I actually received Eternal Life twice. I had a gentleman come up to me in a park while I was visiting my Dad on the weekend. There was no one else in the park that day except myself and Mike. God had sent Him to tell me about Jesus. I can't remember a word that was said 32 years ago. I must have been invited to attend a teen youth service because that is what we did. Mike and DJ coordinated the meetings, we sang, prayed, spoke in tongues so some where in there we must have accepted Christ. Well for 16 years God held onto me because I really wasn't holding on to Him. I was a nice guy, a good person, believed in God, talked with God and left things in His hands. However I knew I would have to give my life to Christ as a Man, knowledgeable, experienced, versed in the world. Who was I kidding it was a surrender to a Savior who never stopped loving me. This time I would have to walk alone, by myself, down that long aisle of the church with eyes radiating "sinner" with every step. Mike wasn't there to guide me or coach me, it was just a Man answering Christ's call.

Those steps brought me into a body of believers who cared for me. No one was perfect but they cared and were now family because we shared a Father. I took classes, learned a great deal about God was taught how to pray and seek Him. The most important thing I received was knowing my purpose and what God had created me for. I knew there had to be more to life than just going to bed, going to work, waking up & starting over. So now each day I know what God has appointed me to do besides my occupation and it's to share His Gospel, the same way someone shared it with me.
