God Brings Me Home

I was wondering what was the purpose of life - why are we here? Also feeling unloved.

In high school I was searching for meaning. I wasn't sure what my career would be, even after taking some classes on career exploration. With that I was wondering why are we even here? What is the point? I was also searching for love.

God was bringing people into my life that already had a relationship with Him. Friends at school began inviting me to Young Life. My mother began to have Bible studies at home, and gave me a book by Hal Lindsey "The late great planet earth". My friends invited me to a Young Life camp, where I accepted Christ when I was a junior in high school.

God has been working in my life to remove my fears, give me confidence, and assurance about my place here.

I have much more peace and confidence, and some strength as a result of God taking me through various trials. I know I am loved, and have a place here that God has purpose for me in. He has provided much love in my life, whereas before it felt sterile and lonely.

My place with God is assured because of Jesus' death and resurrection on my behalf. I no longer worry about my place in this world or the hereafter.
