God Always Provides
In the midst of my worries and doubts, God is always providing for me.
I'm glad I have eternal life because I know that God is always providing for me.
In August 2017, I felt like I needed to attend a $2k Christian apologetics and leadership program at a college in Minnesota. However, I had a full time job at a country club and it was a four month program that would begin less than two weeks after I heard about it. I really believed that I needed to go though and figured I could rely on my checking and savings accounts to provide for me there. So I gave my job a 10 day notice and left for Minnesota. While there I had to buy essentials in addition to paying my bills but thanks to generous financial gifts from family, I only used up my checking account and didn't have to touch my savings at all. When I came home in December I started looking for a job. I eventually agreed to a well-paying nanny job for a mother going back to work. However the job wasn't to begin until around March or April timeframe. I had to dip into my savings to cover my bills and to continue supporting a charity that I had made a yearlong pledge to in March. By the end of January I hadn't found a temporary job that would let me quit once my nanny job began. I begin to panic and I prayed for a job to hold me over until March/April. I looked at my finances again and figured I should quit my charity commitment and a few other nonessentials while I was still jobless. The very next day I received a text from a woman who worked at my church. She asked if I was interested in working at the church's daycare until my nanny job began. I was able to start working full time two days later.
Everyday I know that God is always providing for me like in that situation because I know for sure that I have eternal life now and forever.
