God Always Has A Plan

I’m glad I have eternal life because I know even when the road is not clear, God always has a plan and he will guide me to where I need to be.

Last summer I had to make a big decision to either move to Oklahoma with my dad or move to Tennessee with my mom. This was really hard on me because I had lived with my mom for all of my life but I had the best stability at my dads. My dad put a lot of pressure on me and both him and my step mom would say bad things about my mom and mom was furious at my dad. In the end, I decided to move in with my dad because I didn’t want to start my life over in Tennessee. So I went back to my moms house and broke the news to my mom. She got mad and I felt guilty and rethought my decision. I wondered if this was what God wanted me to do. I also felt like it was my fault that my parents were not on good terms with each other. I felt like my decision was tearing my family apart even me and even me and my sisters relationship. So I prayed and prayed hoping that God would give me some sort of sign of what I needed to do. Then, a couple days later, my mom comes into my room and tells me that they weren’t moving to Tennessee. So I called my dad and told him that I had changed my mind. So, in the end, I didn’t move anywhere and my parents’ relationship is not perfect but it is better than it was and I will be forever grateful. I believe that God made me make such a big decision to test my faith and strengthen my trust in Him.

The guidance that God gave me in that situation is just a small fraction of the guidance that God gives me everyday, and I know that God will always have a plan for me no matter which situation I’m in.
