From the ashes

Before I came to know who Christ was my life was chaotic and dramatic.

I felt empty, alone and totally lost with no direction. My friends were not friends at all, especially once I became pregnant. Not married to the father, lost my job, was evicted. Now homeless and pregnant suffering with an agonizing worry of what to do and how in the world I was going to take care of a baby… my family and friends turned their backs. My first experience hearing the gospel of Christ was at a crisis pregnancy center, this woman shared and prayed with me and never had I ever felt such peace. In the midst of turmoil I just knew everything was going to be okay.

Fast forward many years later I stood before Christ and gave my life to Him, surrendering all right then and there.

Now an adopted heir in Christ I have complete assurance of my place in eternity with Him.

For many years my marriage was terrible, but God has been faithful to bring my marriage from the brink of divorce, creating in me a tremendous power of forgiveness for my husband and 100% faith that He remains in control, I have nothing to fear because my life is safely in His perfect hands.

He promised never to leave or forsake me and He has assured me time and again this is true. Eternity is no different, I know that I know that I know I will be with Him for all time.
