From One to Oneness: The Healing of My Marriage.

Before I received Christ, I was selfish and careless and my marriage and life was falling apart.

I was never at home where I needed to be. I was constantly avoiding my family because I thought that there was something better out there for me. When I was home, all I did was complain and fight with my wife. I came home one day and my wife told me that she wanted a divorce. At that moment everything collapsed down on me and I realized that I could not take it anymore.

When I hit the bottom, I called my dad and asked him what I needed to do to regain control of my life and my family. He told me to ask God for help. I prayed that day for Jesus to help me to turn my life around. From that moment on, I have dedicated my life to serving God and my family and being the husband and father that they deserve. Through Christ, I was reborn a new person with a new agenda.

Now that I am in Christ and He in me, I have been transformed into the man that my family deserves.

I have healed my family and corrected that which was destroying my life. I seek God in all things and all decisions and I don't feel the urge to live like I was living before. The Spirit of God leads me.

Unfortunately, it took my marriage falling apart and harm to those around me for me to seek Jesus. But through the mercy of God and Jesus dying for me, I know that I am forgiven and will one day dwell eternally with my God.
