From my life to His life in me.

Before I received eternal life I was self centered and spent most of my time looking for ways to make me happy or have fun.

After graduating high school and throughout college my life was really all about me. Some of the activities I pursued were healthy such as basketball, baseball, biking, golfing, or working out. Others were not so much such as drinking, drugs, and girls.

Then one day a new co-worker of mine asked me if I thought I was going to heaven. I thought, "Of course, I'm a good person, I was confirmed in the Methodist church when I was a teenager, I accepted Christ at a Young Life camp in high school. Why wouldn't I be going to heaven?

After accepting Christ I was no longer consumed with chasing after all of those things to make me happy. I had a sense of joy and contentment that I had never experienced before.

After receiving Jesus as my savior I was no longer consumed with the desire to chase after things that would make me happy. I stopped drinking, doing any kind of drugs, and using women to fulfill my sexual desires.

Looking back I am thankful for what God has led me through. My changed life is proof that he is real and is able and wants to change your life.
