From Lost to Loved
Something was missing in my life. That something was a vital relationship with the God who made me. Through understanding the work of Christ on the cross; I found forgiveness and received the free gift of eternal life. Now I have a relationship with God that makes life worth living!
Before I received eternal life, my life seemed to going well in many ways, but deep down inside, I felt like something was missing.
I had friends, was doing well in school, but I felt a longing inside of me for something more than this world has to offer.
I had a desire to go to church, and that very week my aunt invited our family to join her at church. There I learned that what was missing in my life was a relationship with God. I learned how I could be forgiven through the work of Christ on the cross. I received the gift of eternal life.
Now that I have a relationship with God, I also have a great sense of fulfillment, satisfaction and God's presence in my life.
Now when I am alone, my mind doesn't think about the emptiness, lack of purpose and lack of hope, but instead prays to God in a personal way. I feel connected now to Him!
Even though life is not perfect, and there are still difficult trials, I know that when I die, I will be with God in heaven.
