From Knowing God to Loving God!

I'm more than grateful, with all of my life, that through the sacrifice and acceptance of Jesus Christ, I have been forgiven of all my past mistakes and sins and can have eternal life with God. I'm not perfect today, and I sometimes struggle a lot, but I'm grateful that God forgives me for all my sins and calls me His own daughter. I'm thankful I can now have the gift of eternity because it truly gives me full comfort and joy in this life. I no longer have to be afraid of death, evil, and destruction because there is a God, the only God, who protects me and assures me of Heaven. I used to be very afraid of death and not being enough in life, but having this eternal gift has truly strengthened me to keep going in life while focusing on God. The one and only God who promises to be with me forever, even after death. In God, I have found great Confidence and Security in the midst of my doubts and worries. He has truly shown His love and Mercy by providing me a Peace that this world could NEVER offer me. This eternal gift motivates me and helps me to trust in God. A God who never changes and ALWAYS keeps His promises. That's the God I serve and live for forever!

As my grandma passed away, I prayed and asked God to give me the peace that surpasses all understanding. The peace that can only be given by him, and can truly fulfill my deepest fears and doubts. My grandma then passed, and in a moment of so much pain, I experienced a peace that was full of hope and trust that God was still in control. It's a peace that truly surpasses all human understanding and can only be given by God!

The same peace I experienced when my grandma died is the same peace that reassures me that God is with me always. This peace is a gift of grace, that even though I don't deserve it, He still gives it to me. I have faith that I have eternal life in God, not because of me, but because of Jesus Christ, who lives in me. I did not and cannot save myself, but Jesus/God/Holy Spirit, who lives in my heart, can/has saved me! It's all by Faith in Him! It's all through Him and for Him. It has always been about Him, God/Jesus/Holy Spirit!
