From independence to total dependence on God

Before I received the gift of eternal life I used be a self reliant person/ very independent person.

I remember thinking that I could rely on my own wisdom, because I was quite bright in class and had very loving parents who could provide anything I wanted.

Then a bishop visited our school and I received the gift of eternal life.

After receiving the gift of eternal life, I started relying on God.

I remember after my parents passed on, I only had God to rely on for provision and education. There’s never a day I lacked anything I needed for survival. All the basic things of life God provided.

Now that I know I can rely on God during my earthly life, I also know I will be with Him in heaven after this earthly life.
